In this section we will instuct you on how to monopolise your internet profit from the traffic you generate, this again comes back to the target audience and varies from structural and content style of your pages.

For example a web page that contains plenty of original content would generate a greater volume of traffic however as a result of all this content strategically placed products would be in danger of being 'Buried' and recieving revenue from adsence or cpm advertising would usually have a greater profit potential.

On the other hand if your site is product strong you would be inclined to make a higher profit from visitors arriving at your page with a specific purpose in mind and you may want to take more advantage of the marketing possibilities to drive that traffic to a landing page set up in order to attract a sale. Again its about forethought a page's integrity should never be defaced by to many adverts and popups, the visitors don’t like it and neither do the advertisers.

Content relevant adds: The most well know google's "Adsense" allows you to custom keyword links into your pages this is both unobtrusive and profitable. There are two common ways of increasing your adsense revenue, first the one I don’t recommend quite simply because you should never underestimate a happy customer, this one I've sure you have all seen, its a bit like giving visitors the run around by luring them to your site only to find there is nothing really relative to what your searching for except for this rather conveniently placed advert.

Now the correct way, firstly do some research as certain keywords in your script have a higher bidding value that others. For example if your were writing an article on car spares and you were trying to decide if your were going to use the keyword phrase "car parts" or "motor parts" within your text although "car parts" has a higher search volume (15 x more), "motor parts" has a higher CPC of £0.30 - £0.42 as opposed to "car parts" CPC of £0.26 - £0.38,(as per adwords on the 06/12/07) if fact 13% more. Now if you have a top listing for both key phrases on the search engines by doing a little research and targeting the unlikely keyphrase you have just increased your adsense revenue conversion by 13%. With this in mind strategically place researched phrases in proximity to the adverts coding .

Secondly have good original content on your page, If you do this and an individual clicks through to another website only to be disappointed in what they discover, research shows that most visitors will use the back option rather than click on from the poor quality site, often rewarding you with multiple clicks.

Adsense its suitable for a variety of sites (even Blogs) irrespective of how much traffic you get. One of the drawbacks is when competitors trigger these cheating flags by bulk clicking on your adverts from a common ip address this can result in your site being banned you will have the opportunity to contest however this is time and income lost.

Another option is affiliate programs, this is generally better than signing up to individual site affiliates as it offers greater scope reducing administration and consolidating your earnings for a relatively modest percentage, this also gives you the freedom to play around until you find a affiliate relationship that works.

Drop shipping is when you sell a product online with a mark up of your own choice and receive the payment directly, then resubmit the order with the drop shipper who will supply your customer then charge you the wholesale price, the advantages are clear you don’t have to worry about storage, shipping or capital to hold the inventory. This is one way to keep ahead on your cashflow.

You need to look around for products with good retail potential and profit margin. Try to specialize in a specific market make sure your buying directly from a reputable drop shipper and not from another middleman posing as a drop ship site, this is similar to selling your own product and will keep you busy with customer services and administration so make sure the profits there for your investment in time. As always do your research first.

CPM banners links and Popups/ popunders can work and are a very simple way of receiving income but you do need high traffic stats to profit much from this and popups are known have a negitive affect on both your ranking and visitors. Cpm meaning cost per 1,000 impressions, can pay anything between $0.20 to $2.00 per thousand hits depending of the rated quality of your site and the location of the traffic.

Don't be fooled though it may be for unique impressions and many of these sites will only acknowledge less than half of the hits and in the case of popups lets not forget all the popup blockers out there, this aside its easy revenue to add to you site and if you monitoring your traffic you can strategically place them on certain pages. There are a abundance of site's offering this I recommend you do your research and make sure the site you used are not blacklisted.

Donations and membership fees: don't underestimate these option's great for clubs, free tutorials, humour (entertainment sites) and charity organisations and easy to set up with paypal. You will be surprised how many people will donate to a site they have enjoyed or found beneficial.
